I'm Sara Eden Gally, certified Birth Doula and placenta encapsulator.

I will work with you as your Doula to bring life to your greatest vision for your birth. Together we will collaborate as a team, empowering you, your partner, and your baby through this beautiful time of creation and becoming.

I will light the way when you need guidance, stand behind you when you when you need support, and hold your hand through the whole journey.

I have been attending births since 2014, at home and in the hospital. With midwives, sisters, friends, partners, and sometimes just Mom.

I have also spent time as a midwives apprentice, studying birth from a Certified Professional Midwife and Licensed Midwife, where I deepened my knowledge of the physiology of birth.

I started studying birth in 2014 with Whapio Diane Bartlette of the Matrona School of Midwifery.

With Whapio, I began my path as a student of birth. After training with her I began attending births as a Labor Doula.

I decided to continue my studies with Birthingway College of Midwifery, where I took an 8 week Labor Doula class, and completed their Labor Doula practicum.

I am now a certified Labor Doula by The Matrona as well as Birthingway College - the latter of which has educational benchmarks that meet and surpass that of DONA.

I live and play in Eugene, Oregon. I am a Willamette Valley native and I love the natural beauty that surrounds us here. I spend a lot of my free time in nature, hiking, paddling, biking, swimming, etc.

I trust birth, and the physiologic processes that our body has the imprint of. I trust babies and the way they know what they need to do in order to be born.

I trust that you are going to have an amazing birth.
